"Lakota Sioux Indian-S.D. Mogens H. Kiehn" on brass plate of the wood base that holds sculpture. Bust of a Lakota Sioux woman wearing a braided leather headband, cord necklace holding a single stone, with a pleasant smile on her face. Her flowing hair goes down the back of the sculpture. Measures 22 3/4'l x 20"h x 13 1/2"w. Mogens Kiehn was also a resistance fighter in WWII, a chemist, inventor, and has settled in Scottsdale, AZ. Mogens is now in his 90s, loves all things Western, and revealed this admiration in his extremely rare busts of Native Americans.
